ROTARY’S CHARITY WORK IN BELFAST

Rotary currently has five clubs in Belfast (Belfast, Belfast West, Belfast Fortwilliam, Belfast East and Lisburn) along with one in nearby Newtonabbey which support the local area. Whether you are looking to get involved with volunteering in Belfast, charity work and fundraising, business networking or simply to make fantastic new friends, there is sure to be a Rotary club nearby for you to join.

Volunteering in Belfast with Rotary

At Rotary, we are committed to improving the local area and further afield. Our charitable projects and initiatives benefit thousands of people, whether it is locally, nationally or overseas. In order to be successful, we need volunteers who are prepared to put others before themselves for great causes. We work with Belfast based charities, businesses, schools and environmental groups to raise much needed funds and support the local area, and we are always looking for like-minded people to join us.

Our Belfast charity work

Just some of the charity work that we have been involved with in recent times includes:

  • Donating £25,000 to a project designed to combat youth suicide, drug, alcohol and solvent abuse in the city in conjunction with FASA. Read more here.
  • Raising over £10,000 for several charities including End Polio Now by creating the largest ever Charity Garden Party. Read more here.
