Masumi is very grateful to Rotary for its backing: “I cannot thank Rotary enough for the sponsorship and support. It has not only been an experience of a lifetime but has equipped me to lead a more fulfilling life.

"I would also like to thank Bill and Marilyn who made my transition to Colchester and understanding of the English culture so much easier.

"Studying abroad was my dream since I took an English language course for two weeks in Sheffield when I was 17. Since then, I have been fascinated by traditional British culture, the beautiful countryside and multicultural society. In addition, the Department of Language and Linguistics at the University of Essex offers the course on Intercultural Communication."
