Please let your voting delegate(s) know they have been registered and confirm to them if they have been registered as voting in person or online.

What happens if I need to change my Club’s voting delegates?
Please contact the Governance department on 01789 765411 ext. 4 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. May we make you aware that the Association incurs a charge per each online voting delegate, therefore if your Club’s online voting delegate is no longer able to participate please let us know ASAP.
When is the 2018 business meeting?
The business meeting is taking place on Saturday 7th April 2018 at 15:30pm at the Riviera Conference Centre. A live stream will be broadcast via the RIBI website.
What are the 2018 resolutions?
The resolutions are contained within the 2016/17 Annual Report.
What do in person voting delegates need to do at the Conference?
In person voting delegates must visit the credentials desk at the conference prior to the start of the business meeting on Saturday 7th April 2018. There they will obtain their voting delegate sticker, which enables them to collect an electronic voting handset as they enter the business meeting and vote on your club’s behalf. Please be aware that voting delegates and non-voting delegates are seated separately due to operational requirements.
What do online voting delegates need to know?
Online voting delegates will be contacted directly on the email address you have provided us before the business meeting and will be given separate instructions on how to vote online. Online voting delegates will be able to view a live broadcast of the business meeting and vote online in real time. May we make you aware that the Association incurs a charge per each online voting delegate, therefore if your club’s online voting delegate is no longer able to participate please let us know ASAP.
What do non-voting delegates of the business meeting need to know?
Any Rotarian who is not a voting delegate is welcome to attend the business meeting. Non voting delegates need to show their Conference badge on entry, or for those not attending Conference, pick up a free business meeting attendee badge from the Conference Office located in the foyer at Manchester Central. Non-voting delegates are welcome to participate in debate.
Are travel expenses paid to in person voting delegates?
Travel expenses are no longer paid to in person voting delegates as the online system enables users to vote from the comfort of their home, as outlined in D.Exec.2014/15:13: “The Association shall remove the requirement to offer a contribution to voting delegates travel allowance when attending the Annual Business Meeting (ABM).”
