It gives an idyllic setting for the 2018 conference and gives you the perfect excuse to make a holiday of your visit to conference!

Our conference venue this year is the Riviera Conference Centre, located in the heart of the community and with an inspirational setting by the sea. They have delivered an award winning track record of events and are committed to providing a first class conference for Rotary.

There are fantastic leisure facilities too including a Health & Fitness Spa and swimming pool. Grab a Starbucks coffee in the relaxing Aqua Lounge Café Bar which also serves tasty breakfasts and lunches.

Parking

There is ample onsite parking available.  Conference delegates are offered the discounted rates below and can claim this at the main reception of the Riviera Centre.

Overflow car parking operated by the council is located at Torre Valley Car Park should this be required.

Getting there

By road

The Riviera International Centre is only 24 miles from the Exeter M5 junction. There are also brown tourist signs denoting Riviera International Centre along the route from this point.

On the M5 at Exeter continue along the A30 branching off left up Haldon Hill onto the A380 signposted to Newton Abbot/Torquay.

Continue into Torquay. On reaching traffic lights at Torre Railway Station (on your right), bear right following the signpost to the “Sea Front”.

At the second set of traffic lights (a 6-road intersection) turn second left into Chestnut Avenue and continue along 100 meters to the RICC on your right.

By bus

There are several local bus services that stop nearby including 12, 12A, 12C, 61, X46, X80, and the Cockington Bus.

By air

The closest airport is Exeter. There are daily flights to Exeter from Belfast, Dublin, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Liverpool, Leeds, Bradford and Newcastle.

By train

The Riviera International Centre is only 10 minutes’ walk from Torquay Train Station.

Fast train services offer direct links from all parts of the UK to Torquay (and Newton Abbot). It now takes just under 3 hours to get from London to Torquay.

***Special Offer***  Great Western Railway have collaborated with Conference English Riviera to offer discounted rail fares for those travelling from all main Great Western Railway stations as well as many of the connecting routes to Great Western Railway from the Home Counties.  These special delegate fares will be available through an online booking facility from February 2018 and can be as little as £49 return from London to Torquay.
