Rotary Showcase 2019
2019 sees an exciting transition from the traditional conference to a fantastic Showcase of Rotary and the work we do and the impact we make.
Rotary in Great Britain & Ireland Showcase (Conference) 2019
When: 10th – 12th May 2019
Where: Nottingham, UK
Showcase Venue: Royal Concert Hall
The new format of Conference, the Rotary Showcase, will highlight the work we do on a local, national and international level, including in the host county of Nottinghamshire, and will offer an opportunity to engage with the public and potential Rotary members and volunteers.
With plenty of opportunity to network and build on friendship, there’s no doubt you’ll leave the Showcase inspired and delighted by Nottingham’s unique charm.
Famous for the legend of Robin Hood, today Nottingham is quickly becoming one of the UK’s most thriving and creative cities. A destination alive with dynamic culture and attractions providing a fascinating place to explore and the perfect venue for our 2019 Showcase Conference!
There is an abundance of things to do in the city. The legendary Nottingham Castle Museum & Gallery is a must-see, or venture deep down to explore Nottingham’s hidden cave network at the City of Caves, with the National Justice Museum nearby presenting a grisly history of crime and punishment.
Nottingham Contemporary is a free, modern art gallery and is just a stone’s throw from Hockley, Nottingham’s Creative Quarter full of independent shops, restaurants and hidden gems.
The city centre is conveniently compact with a beautiful square, making Nottingham perfect for relaxed strolling, sight-seeing, shopping and dining.
Finding delicious food and drink in Nottingham has never been easier. A mixed blend of fine dining, friendly cafés and award-winning eateries fill the streets.
Our Showcase venue, The Royal Concert Hall is right in the heart of the city with plenty of accommodation choices nearby. What more could you want?
