Rotary spearheaded the campaign at a time when there were over 1,000 polio cases a day in 125 countries, paralysing and even killing children.
Today, the number of cases is down by 99.9% and we are on the brink of history.
Your support will allow us to continue to protect children around the world from this horrendous disease with a life-changing vaccine, which costs just 20p.
Every donation to Rotary will be trebled by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, so every £1 will become £3.
