The aim is to help mediators connect and work collaboratively across districts and clusters.
To be included in the WhatsApp group, district mediators must agree to the terms below:
- The group is for asking for guidance or sharing best practice. It does not replace obtaining legal advice if needed.
- Language must be polite, fair and kind.
- Data protection – personal details of any kind, including third parties and other sensitive information, must not be shared in the chat.
- Mediator details must not be shared outside of the chat unless consent has been given.
- Disagreements must be managed outside of the chat.
- Mediators may choose to leave at any time.
- This chat is not monitored by Rotary GB&I. To contact a member of staff, please use the office email or phone numbers.
- Do not use this group chat to report emergencies.
- Do not share images.
- No late night messages please.
Failure to adhere to the terms and conditions set out above may result in officers being removed from the chat.
