RI owns the trademarks for the use and benefit of all Rotarians. By complying with the guidelines for the use of the Rotary Marks you are helping to protect the Rotary Marks for all Rotarians into the future. The use of any of the Rotary Marks in any manner not authorised by the Constitution and Bylaws of Rotary International, or by action of the Rotary International Board of Directors, is forbidden and all Rotary districts, clubs, individual Rotarians, and other recognised Rotary Entities (as defined in the Rotary Code of Policies) shall conform to this provision. Rotary Entities must refrain from the use of the word “Rotarian” as part of the name or title of any document or publication placed on the Internet. The word “Rotary” may not be used without a qualifier in order to indicate source by any Rotary district, club, other recognised Rotary Entity, or Rotarian. Rotary International in Great Britain & Ireland (“Rotary GB&I”) has created and maintains http://www.rotarygbi.org (the “Site”) as a service to Rotary members in Great Britain & Ireland and the public. Access to and use of this Site is subject to the following terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) and all applicable laws. By accessing and browsing the Site, you accept, without limitation or qualification, the Terms and Conditions and other notices. You acknowledge full and complete acceptance of these terms.

Linking policy

Rotary GB&I welcomes Rotary clubs and districts in Great Britain & Ireland, and other Rotary Entities to link to this Site. Any other individuals or entities interested in linking to this Site, must obtain the express written permission of Rotary GB&I, Kinwarton Road, Alcester, Warwickshire B49 6PB or via secretary@rotarygbi.org. Links may resolve to the home page (http://www.rotarygbi.org) or to specific pages within this Site which are not subject to the membership login procedure.

  • Links must lead to whole pages within the Site. Direct linking to partial pages or individual files (i.e. image files, multimedia files, etc) is not permitted. Similarly, Rotary GB&I does not permit the framing of its pages and files in the framesets of external sites.
  • Links to Rotary GB&I’s site should not assert or imply an endorsement by or affiliation with Rotary GB&I.

User forums

International users

This Site is controlled, operated and administered by Rotary GB&I from its offices within Great Britain & Ireland. If you access this Site from a location outside Great Britain & Ireland, you are responsible for compliance with all applicable laws.

General

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the United Kingdom and of the Republic of Ireland, without giving effect to principles of conflict of laws. You hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of U.K./Irish law to resolve any disputes arising under these Terms and Conditions.

 

These Terms and Conditions contain the complete agreement between the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof, and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements or understandings, whether oral or written. The failure or delay of Rotary GB&I to exercise any of its rights under these Terms and Conditions or upon any breach of this Agreement shall not be deemed a waiver of those rights or of the breach.

 

If any of these Terms and Conditions shall be held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be contrary to law, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remaining provisions of the Terms and Conditions will remain in full force and effect.

 

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rotary GB&I, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, employees and assigns, from any claim, demand, or damage, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, asserted by any third party due to or arising out of your use of or conduct on the Site.

 

Rotary GB&I may at any time revise these Terms and Conditions and other notices contained herein by updating this posting. You are bound by such revisions and should periodically visit this page to review the then-current Terms and Conditions.
