Rotary Christmas Toy Box Appeal 2026

We are excited to announce the launch of this year’s Rotary Christmas Toy Box Appeal - an initiative that aims to provide individual toy boxes to every child, in every domestic abuse refuge across the UK during Christmas time.
To kick off this year's Rotary Christmas Toy Box Appeal, we hosted an online webinar where members of the Rotary Christmas Toy Box Team and Kids in Mind were on hand to share information and answer your questions about getting involved in the appeal.
If you have any questions, please email the Rotary Christmas Toy Box / Children's Fun Day Team directly at: funday@rotarygbi.org.
The recording of the appeal launch webinar is available to watch below.
These are individual toy boxes which cost £30 each and will contain age and gender specific new toys up to an approximate value of £80.
Each box will be delivered to children living in domestic abuse refuges across the UK at Christmas 2026.
The aim is to provide an individual Rotary Christmas Toy Box to every child, in every domestic abuse refuge across the UK.
Please bear in mind that over Christmas refuges are generally full, with 15 to 20 children in each refuge, on average.
When you make a donation you will be asked if you want to direct your donation for Rotary Christmas Toy Box to a specific refuge. To avoid any confusion, please do not contact your local refuge directly about the project, as this may cause confusion. The logistics are arranged through Kids in Mind charity.
Kids in Mind are Rotary GB&I’s supporting partner for the Rotary Christmas Toy Box Appeal, and are responsible for sourcing, packing and delivering the toy boxes.
If you would like to promote the 2026 Rotary Christmas Toy Box Appeal, we have created a set of assets to help you.
The asset pack contains:
The 2025 initiative raised over £97,000 which helped us deliver boxes of toys to over 3,200 children. Thank you for your amazing support.
Rotary Christmas Toy Boxes are made possible through the support of our valued partner, Kids in Mind. In Rotary Magazine we took a look back at the impact of the campaign, rounding up some of the incredible work of volunteers who made it happen.
Thank you for your incredible support of the initiative in 2024. As a result an outstanding £84,225 was raised, enabling the delivery of 3,369 toy boxes to children living in domestic abuse refuges across Great Britain and Ireland, bringing smiles and joy during the festive season.
This initiative was a true success, made possible through the support of our valued partner, Kids in Mind.
The Rotary Christmas Toy Boxes initiative is part of the Rotary Children's Fun Day campaign, a Rotary in Great Britain and Ireland project supported by Kids in Mind.
