Volunteer Expo Live is all about connecting communities, and bringing together a cross section of society under one roof.
Volunteer Expo Live is all about connecting communities, and bringing together a cross section of society under one roof. After a time in our lives like no other, it’s time for us to continue rebuilding together. Volunteer Expo Live will foster the togetherness and community spirit we’ve seen during 2020 and 2021, and make that a lasting legacy of the pandemic.
For 2022, we're back and we're live! After a virtual event in 2021, we're so excited to be back live and in-person at the NEC, Birmingham (Hall 2) on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th May from 10am - 4pm!
Hosted by Rotary in Great Britain and Ireland event will continue to help you find volunteering opportunities to suit you, connect with charities and not-for-profit organisations, with celebrating aspects of our communities that unite us!
For people who are keen to volunteer, or already do so, there will be the opportunity to network with peers, develop your personal skills and turn your passion for change into action.
Nothing beats the experience of a live event. At Volunteer Expo Live, visitors will be able to network with each other and exhibitors to forge partnerships and make connections.
We'll also be putting together an excellent programme of speakers, Q&As and interactive workshops covering the topics that matter to you and your community.
Evening entertainment
The brilliant Volunteer Expo programme is accompanied by two evening events. There is the Rotary Foundation dinner on Friday 6th May at the National Motorcycle Museum and on Saturday 7th, Champion Awards Ceremony & Gala Dinner at the Vox. Both are just a stone's throw from the show hall.
Rotary Action Summit
After two days of sharing and learning, it’s time to put all into practice with the Action Summit on Sunday 8th May. This is a new-look Rotary Institute where you will take the ideas from the weekend and put them into action in our communities.
Volunteer Expo is created and hosted by Rotary in Great Britain and Ireland and will further advance what Rotary does best – connecting with our communities and championing good causes.
This event will have Rotary at its heart, giving visitors the chance to become members of Rotary, explore our life-changing projects and discover how to participate in our incredible programmes.
It will give a brand new audience chance to discover how Rotary’s activities promote peace, fight disease, provide clean water, support education, protect mothers and children, grow local economies, protect the environment and so much more.
