We’re delighted to announce that this year Rotary will be officially kicking off the Rotary Ride where we invite you to don your Lycra and get on your bike for prostate cancer.
Rotary Ride is a national initiative taking place on Father’s Day (21st June) in which Rotary clubs across Great Britain and Ireland will be hosting a range of cycle rides for all ages and abilities, and we are inviting Rotarians and members of the public alike to take part in their local ride and raise money for one of our four chosen Prostate Cancer charities.
There will be three types of event to choose from, Enthusiast, Fun and Static, meaning whatever kind of cycling takes your fancy, there will be a ride for you.
Why are we doing this? Well not only is it a great way to help raise money for prostate cancer, a condition that not only affects 250,000 men in the UK and Ireland every year, but their families as well, but it is also a fantastic way to bring our community together, and raise awareness of Rotary and the incredible work that our clubs and members do.

If you’re a Rotary member who is organising an event, the link to register your ride is now open! Officially registering your event as soon as you can will help to get as many people as possible choosing your event to take part in.
