Rotary is pleased to announce the winners of our 2014 Great Britain & Ireland Young Writer Competition. Thousands of youngsters took part by writing about something that has made a difference to their lives and submitting their entry to their local Rotary club.

The winners of the three categories are:

President of Rotary International in Great Britain & Ireland, Peter King said: “A flair for creative writing is a special gift. Rotary set up the Young Writers competition to develop and encourage the work of young people who show talent in this area. The quality of the entries continues to improve year on year and we would like to thank everyone who took part.”

The winners each received a trophy and an inscribed pen from sponsors, Cross, the world famous pen manufacturers.

The theme for the 2015 Young Writer competition is Light Up Your Community, to enter please contact your local Rotary club.
