Rotary Ride 2019 ready for action!

Rotary Ride 2019 ready for action!

Our national cycling event is calling all riders to saddle up on and around next Father’s Day (15th and 16th June) for the fundraising bike ride where the public pedals for prostate cancer charities.

Rotary clubs all across these islands have been creating incredible cycling activities since 2015 from static exercise bikes to fun-rides to the invigorating long-distance rides.

We have welcomed thousands of people to these great days out and the supported charities have benefitted massively, thanks to our hard work.

All the charities are immensely grateful to Rotary.

We are linking up with our friends at Prostate Cancer UK, Prostate Scotland, Prostate Cymru and the Irish Cancer Society.

You can choose to support a local prostate charity if you prefer.

There are many reasons for taking part, aside from helping to save lives and support families of patients.

Rotary Ride is eye-catching, active and fun. The public have a great day out and the opportunity to meet you, the people of action who make it happen.

If your Rotary Ride is planned correctly, you will enjoy a healthy amount of positive publicity where you can tell all about the tremendous achievements and opportunities within your Rotary area.

Please chat with your club and download the guidance pack from the Rotary Ride website which is also home to a downloadable poster and insurance advice.

Pay a visit and make your club’s New Year challenge to host a Rotary Ride.

You can also register, doing so helps the Rotary Ride team to publicise your event.
