Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar, Rob Avery-Phipps is taking part in the Great Wall Marathon in China on Saturday 18th May to raise money for End Polio Now.
Rob, who is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Wollaton Park, hopes to raise around £1,000, which would provide 1,000 vaccinations against the disease for children in affected countries. The funds will be collected by the Rotary Club of Abingdon Vesper to be forwarded on to End Polio Now.

To add to this, the temperature is likely to be around 33 degrees centigrade, which will be an additional challenge.
