General Board Member

General Board Member

The Rotary GB&I Board is our new governing body. Under the leadership of the Chair, Board members are responsible for setting the overall direction and strategy of Rotary GB&I, defining clear goals and ensuring that the Association is accountable to members. Board members embody Rotary’s values: leadership, integrity, diversity, service and fellowship.

What's involved?

General Board Members shape the long-term future of Rotary and work with one of five specialist advisory teams, who play an essential role in delivering our day-to-day work.

General Board Members usually serve a term of three years. While the board is first put in place, appointments were made covering one-, two- and three-year terms.

The Rotary GB&I board meets at least four times a year, with additional meetings related to the work of the specialist advisory teams.
