Rotary Young Artist 2022: The national results

Participants of the 2021/22 Rotary Young Artist were faced with the theme of ‘Colours of Nature’, here are the three winners!

The annual Rotary Young Artist Competition provides an opportunity for young artists to share their creative talents and showcase a two-dimensional piece of art.

Young Artist is one of ten competitions organised by Rotary Great Britain and Ireland to challenge young minds. To find out more about what other competitions are available click here.

Each year the participants are provided with a theme to focus on, this year the chosen theme was ‘Colours of Nature’.

As part of this competition, participants aged 7 to 17 are asked to create their own artwork using any media that they feel comfortable using.

This year’s winners include the following:

 

Senior Section – Winner – Jacob Bennett-Hogg

Canvas painting of a human heart.

Intermediate Section – Winner – Daisy Redman

Pencil drawing of a colourful hummingbird.

Junior Section – Winner – Tila Burhart

A very detailed pencil drawing of a tiger.
