Noel Fryer โ€“ Past Rotary in Great Britain and Ireland President

We are saddened to share the news of the death of Noel Fryer, who served as President of Rotary in Great Britain and Ireland in 1995/96.

Noel first joined Rotary in 1975 as a member of Blackfriars Newcastle-under-Lyme Rotary Club, where he was a member for 33 years.

Noel Fryer served as Rotary in Great Britain and Ireland President in 1995/96.

He then spent 14 years as a member of Burslem, Market Drayton and Newport Lite Rotary Clubs between 2008 and 2022.

Noel also served as District Governor for Rotary in the North West Midlands (D1120) during 1986/87.

He would go on to lead Rotary in Great Britain and Ireland as President in 1995/96, before taking on the role of Rotary International Director between 1999-2001.

Noel was a hugely dedicated Rotarian at a local, national and international level and Rotary in Great Britain and Ireland would like to thank him for over 47 years of membership.

We also extend our condolences to Noelโ€™s wife Anne, his family and friends at this sad time.
